On Wednesday July 9, our office will hold its next In The Ward with Constituent Services event at the Cleveland Park Library, 3310 Connecticut Ave NW, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. Residents are welcome to come by and meet the team during that time. If you need assistance with a DC government service, our problem-solvers will be available in-person and eager to provide help. The event will coincide with the Office of the Attorney General’s community forum, which will begin at 6:00 pm at the library, to update residents on their work, as well as to hear from residents about how the OAG’s office can best serve the community. That equates to more than 16,000 people, making Ward 3 home to the largest population of seniors of any ward in the District of Columbia. Since 2023, the DC Council has annually declared May “Old People Are Cool Month” in DC. Councilmember Frumin was proud to introduce the Ceremonial Resolution again in 2025 to recognize the Old People Are Cool project’s important work to confront ageism and support intergenerational collaboration. Organizations in our community have made Ward 3 a great place to age-in-place, and Councilmember Frumin is grateful for their work empowering older adults and connecting them to critical supportive resources.
