Ward 3 FY27 Budget Listening Session: Recording Now Available

On Saturday, January 31, Councilmember Matt Frumin hosted Ward 3’s annual Budget Listening Session, a community forum for residents to share priorities and perspectives on the District’s upcoming Fiscal Year 2027 budget.

During the session, Ward 3 residents and stakeholders spoke about a wide range of issues, including housing affordability, education and early childhood investments, public safety, infrastructure and pedestrian needs, climate resilience, support for seniors, and fiscal accountability. Councilmember Frumin also provided an overview of the District’s budget process and discussed how resident feedback informs oversight and budget advocacy.

For those who were unable to attend, or who would like to revisit the discussion, the full recording is available on YouTube at YouTube.com/@CMFrumin. – (https://youtu.be/2c9daoqMmPM).

Residents are encouraged to continue sharing their priorities by emailing fruminoffice@dccouncil.gov or calling 202-724-8062, and to stay tuned for updates as the FY27 budget process moves forward.
