Resources From the Ward 3 Public Safety Forum on November 20, 2024

Public safety is one of Councilmember Frumin’s top priorities. On Wednesday, November 20, 2024, Councilmember Frumin hosted the Ward 3 Public Safety Forum at the University of the District of Columbia Student Center Ballroom and on Zoom. The meeting was an opportunity for attendees to learn more about the District’s initiatives to address crime and safety, as well as trends in our Ward, and have an opportunity to ask questions about public safety efforts to agency leaders from:

• Commander Tatjana Savoy – Metropolitan Police Department 2^nd District
• Director Heather McGaffin – Office of Unified Communications
• Deputy Attorney General Elizabeth Wieser –  Office of the Attorney General
• Chief of Staff David Ross – Department of Human Services
