The Committee on Human Services will meet to consider: The “Library E-book Pricing Fairness Amendment Act of 2025,” like bills in other states, would prevent DCPL from signing contracts that sharply restrict access or disproportionately raise costs of e-books and audiobooks. If passed, the bill would take effect only after enough states pass similar laws.
